Title: Change and Incremental Improvement
Presenter: Mark Komen, President. Kodyne, Inc. Management
and Organization Development Consulting
Description of Presentation
There are lots of change agents out there promoting this new idea
or that re-make of an old idea. We’re barraged by books, articles,
webinars, and news shows telling us how to manage our companies.
What’s a business leader to do with this overwhelming flood of
advice? Rather than take unwarranted leaps into new territory,
many organizations would benefit from looking for incremental
changes to further them towards their goals. I will share my
philosophies on this subject, some case studies and invite you
into this discussion.
Speaker Biography:
Mark Komen is President
of Kodyne, Inc. a management and organization development company
in Plymouth, MN. In 2011, Kodyne celebrates 25 years as a
Minnesota corporation. Mark is a former engineering manager with a
30-year career in the defense and telecommunications industries.
He has worked with leaders of many different for-profit,
non-profit and government agencies to explore how their leadership
drives their organizations. As a business coach, Mark helps
business leaders explore how the pieces of their businesses fit
together: their work culture, their strategic direction, their
plans, their processes, and their employee development approaches,
to name a few. As a consultant, he works with individuals and
teams to improve their personal and organizational effectiveness.
Mark is also a peer group facilitator and is the owner of The
Alternative Board TAB, North/Central metro area.
