The CIPC provides networking, education, support and friendship for Professional Consultants. Our members are primarily one person home-based businesses that practice in a variety of fields. Specialties includes accounting, finance, grocery stores, pedestrian studies, land development, technology, personal coaching, corporate turnarounds, publishing, education, electronics engineering, software design and web site design & hosting. Our breakfast meetings includes speakers and discussions on a variety of topics. We average 24 consultants for a warm, intimate group. We meet the 4th Friday of every month (except November/December is the first Friday in December) at the Pickerman's Restaurant in the Golden Hills Office Center, 701 Xenia, Golden Valley MN from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m.

Membership is only $25 a year. Meetings, including a great, hot breakfast buffet are $15.

Presentation: “Customer Relationship Management: Where it was, Where it is, Where it is going”

Description of presentation:  Overview of Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM). We will look at the development of CRM, how it is used today and some future developments. Uses of CRM in sales, marketing and customer service support. How to use your CRM for email marketing and web tracking.

Biography of speaker:  Elaine Koyama, CEO of Interlinx Associates, LLC, began her career selling animal feed to farmers in Iowa, and went on to manage field sales managers, manufacturer's reps, distributors and national and industrial bid accounts for one of the largest privately held corporations in the world--Cargill. Combining her hands on experience with being an adjunct marketing professor at the MBA level, Elaine offers a unique combination of theory and practical application.
